Parents please go to www.leanderisd.org, and complete a volunteer application.  Once you have been approved as an LISD volunteer you can come help at school!  We want you to be involved at SRE! Remember that if you want to attend your child's field trip or want to help out at school, you must be an approved volunteer!  Go to the PTA link to find out more or contact your child's teacher to find out how you can help in the classroom! 

School supplies are now available for purchase online at www.epipacks.com. Our school code is STE074. These will be available for purchase until June 30th, and will be delivered to SRE and ready on your child's desk for Meet the Teacher night, August 23rd!

The Leander ISD community is invited to attend the district’s anti-bullying mini-conference on Thursday, May 10, at Deer Creek Elementary, from 6 – 9 p.m.

The mini-conference is designed to foster dialogue among parents, students and district staff regarding bullying and prevention issues. The event will feature a keynote speaker and three rotations where participants will have the opportunity to learn more about anti-bullying strategies currently in place at LISD campuses; general bullying prevention strategies and awareness issues, with an emphasis on educating parents; and discuss how the district can improve its programs to foster a sustainable change on a campus’ culture. Feedback from this session will be incorporated into the district’s anti-bullying programs and initiatives.

Here is the link for the summer camp opportunities provided by the district. These camps do have a fee, but are a GREAT opportunity for student learning and fun!

Voluntary student transfers will be permitted to other elementary campuses within the district on a space and staffing available basis. Children who currently attend the campus as a fourth grader, either as a zoned student or as a transfer student, will be permitted to attend the current campus as a transfer in the next school year, and siblings will be permitted to transfer in on a space and staff available basis.

Help your school while helping the earth...recycle your paper in our green and yellow bin in front of our building!  Steiner Ranch Elementary came in second place in the district for paper recycling last year!  Let's keep up the great work!
